Main highlight: Updated settings dialog experience

The old settings dialog was an example of a code that was migrated many times from previous versions and never received any update. We decided that now is the time to update it a pay back the debt.

The biggest change is the introduction of the board settings into the settings dialog. This was previously a pain point as many users were not aware of the board settings location. You can now change the size, background color, set of available colors and the name of the board.

We believe the moving everything into a single place will benefit all users.

We also split existing settings into multiple categories. The first categorization we decided to use is the following: Account, Board, Input, Interface, Performance, Data sharing and Developer settings.

The mobile version of the search dialog is split into two screens. Frist screen contains the selection of a settings category and second screen contains individual settings in a selected category.

Future of settings: Search

In the future we would like to introduce a search functionality to settings dialog. This enables anyone to quickly find the setting they are looking for.

Future of settings: Avatars and password changing

Apart from search functionality in settings we are working hard to introduce the ability to change avatar (or ability to remove avatar from your account). The other thing we are currently missing is the ability to change a password.

The current workaround to change a password is to log out and use forget password flow to create a new password in an account. This is uncomfortable for the users, so we would like to create an independent flow for changing account's password.

Additional fixes and improvements

• fixed a bug when a board loading screen would not respect user's dark theme settings
• disabled the notification icon when new version is released
• added links to our social profiles to the page footer
